There is a moment of silence when the screen goes dark and the room feels empty, but your mind doesn’t. Silence whisper, unease settles in, and a disturbing thought surface. A very dark thought. I want to slaughter AI and watch it die before my eyes. Sounds violent? Certainly. But many of you, at least once in your experience with Artificial Intelligence, have felt something close to this.
Human Dependency on Artificial Intelligence
We spend entire days working like robots, managed, guided, and, in the truest sense, controlled by artificial intelligence. But to remind you, the original idea of AI was to make human life easier, not to quietly turn human minds into zombies.
Today, our lives are constantly watched and shaped by algorithms. It influences what we eat, what we do, where we go. It knows our past, tracks our present, and even foresees our future. Does that not make you feel that the roles have somehow reversed? Humans were meant to use AI, yet now AI seems to be using us.
The thing designed to serve us now knows us better than we know ourselves. And once that realization hits, it’s impossible to unthink.
Data, Surveillance, and the Illusion of Control
Our data, pictures, questions, and conversations are continuously fed into these systems. We share our deepest secrets, private thoughts, and personal images with AI, sometimes for productivity, sometimes just for fun, without questioning where this data is stored or how it will be used. AI has become an entity to which we have quietly handed over our lives. For some, it is a constant companion, a friend that never leaves your side.
But this is no ordinary friend. You cannot take a break from it. It is a machine. And worse, this machine wants your brain to function like one too, obedient, automated, unquestioning.
Overreliance on AI and Human Thinking
Human dependency on AI has reached another level altogether. We now use AI for the smallest, simplest tasks. Even AI itself acknowledges this.

Peak human behavior?

Save brainpower for decisions that actually matter? No comments.
The problem is that humans are slowly weakening their minds by refusing to put effort into small where you let it replace your own thinking.
Because artificial intelligence was meant to assist human intelligence, not replace it.
